We’re thrilled to announce the 2025 Vancouver International Music Festival (VIMF), taking place August 18–23, 2025 in downtown Vancouver!
Now in its second year, VIMF brings together 12 distinguished Artists-in-Residence for an inspiring week of music, learning, and cultural exchange.
🎻 Festival Highlights
✅ 10 Mini Recitals over 5 days (August 18–22) at the VSO School of Music, showcasing our Artists-in-Residence daily at 6:00pm & 7:30pm
✅ Artist-led masterclasses, open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
✅ 1-on-1 Masterclasses with individualized guidance
✅ Student Performance Sessions with professional feedback, artists’ comments, and participation certificates
✅ Gala Concert on August 23 at 2:00 PM at the Vancouver Playhouse, featuring festival highlights and performances
🌟 Artists-in-Residence
Our 12 Artists-in-Residence represent excellence in piano, violin, cello, harp, chamber music, and traditional music from China, India, and Indigenous cultures. Their collective experience and artistry will make this a truly global celebration of music.
