We feel deeply sorry to announce that, in view of the current situation of COVID-19, the board and committee has made the decision to postpone the Vancouver International Music Competition which was due to take place in Vancouver in 2020. The Vancouver International Music Competition will now take place next year in 2021, following the same time frame as supposedly scheduled this year.
The application and video submission deadline will be April 30th, 2021. The preliminary round will take place in May 2021 and the final round along with the Gala Concert will be scheduled in October 2021 (exact dates and times to be confirmed); which will give the opportunity for many more members of the audience to attend this great musical event.
